Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Upper half leg wax.

For best results arrive with about 1/4 inch of hair growth. Gently exfoliate 48 hours before, avoid tanning and heavy moisturizers, and skip retinoids. Be clean and communicate any skin sensitivities to your esthetician.

Some mild discomfort is normal, especially on the first appointment. Breathing, relaxation techniques, and our gentle waxing method reduce pain. Regular waxing typically becomes less uncomfortable as hair thins and regrowth slows.

Most clients enjoy smooth upper legs for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual factors. Scheduling regular appointments helps maintain results and can lead to finer, sparser regrowth.

Hair should be roughly a quarter inch (about 5 mm). If hair is too long we may trim slightly; if it’s too short we may need to reschedule for optimal results and comfort.

Avoid waxing on sunburned skin. For sensitive skin we recommend a patch test and gentle waxing formulas. Inform us of recent treatments or products so we can tailor the service and recommend appropriate aftercare.

Contraindications include open wounds, active skin infections, severe varicose veins at the treatment area, recent chemical peels, or oral isotretinoin use. Discuss medications and medical history during booking to ensure safe care.
