Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Ears Waxing.
Most clients experience brief discomfort during removal, but low-temperature wax and experienced technicians greatly reduce pain and protect skin. Aftercare and gentle cleansing help soothe the area; any persistent irritation should be reported to your esthetician.
Regrowth varies by person, but most clients enjoy smoother ears for three to six weeks. Regular appointments can thin regrowth and extend intervals, while individual hair growth cycles and hormones affect timing.
Temporary redness, sensitivity, or tiny bumps are common immediately after waxing; these usually subside within a day or two. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and heavy creams for 24 hours. If swelling or severe irritation persists, contact our salon for guidance.
Waxing is intended for external ear area and visible hair only. Technicians will not insert wax into the ear canal. For concerns about internal ear hair, consult a medical professional; we focus on safe, external grooming.
Arrive with clean, dry ears and avoid applying creams, oils, or heavy fragrances beforehand. If you're prone to sensitivities, mention allergies or medications. Inform the technician of recent skin treatments to ensure safe, effective waxing.
Keep the area clean and avoid touching for at least 24 hours. Use the soothing balm or antiseptic we provide if needed, avoid swimming, saunas, or heavy sweating for a day, and apply sunscreen to exposed skin.
